Support Our Work

Local residents and businesses have the opportunity to support the work of the Affordable Housing Committee in its effort to make affordable and workforce housing a reality in Hastings. In order to launch future projects, the committee needs funds to pay for the costs of identifying sites and investigating their suitability for development. These steps--including surveys, appraisals, title searches, and environmental studies--must be completed before county and state funds become available. The lack of ready funds for these and other development needs greatly slows the process of delivering affordable housing to our community.
